Well after a week of rain I think the participants of Sunday’s clinic were glad to see some sunshine, even if it was sporadic. One of our pairs did get caught in a sudden downpour, which thankfully didn’t seem to mar their enjoyment.
Although this clinic was originally set to be on grass, the months worth of rain that descended on us in the preceding days prompted a decision to move to the arena for the safety of riders, horses and the grass!!
Local Rider, Trainer and BD listed judge Kate Davis brought her sympathetic, friendly and patient approach, working with riders in their pairs to help them get the most from their horses. Whilst all of our riders train on a regular basis I think they all came away with some fresh ideas.
Feedback from all who came has been extremely positive, and there were lots of smiles on the day!!
